Hi Jon,

I just saw in Ray's post there were no volunteers. I didn't volunteer
because my sub is not properly instrumented at present. But if nobody
else has stepped forward, here's what I can offer:

- O2 replenishment based on metered regulator
- Barometer to adjust the regulator setting
- CO2 scrubber (which wouldn't be used in this test)

I have an O2 meter that shows increases and decreases but is not
calibrating correctly to 21% in air, even with a new sensor. I know how
to calibrate it, but for some reason 21% is outside the range, and I
don't know whether the percentage variations it shows are accurate or
not. I'd need to buy or borrow a meter. 

The testing would presumably involve reading books sealed inside the sub
for a few hours at a time, while keeping a log of cabin air parameters
every X minutes. Not the most exciting thing to do, but necessary.

PSUBS is seeking a submersible owner (preferably a K-350 or similar
sized
model) who would be willing to test a modified Micropore rebreather
scrubber for small submersible application.  This presupposes that you
have, or are willing to build, a complete life support system for your
submersible which would include 02 replenishment, 02 sensors, and CO2
sensors.  If you have such a vehicle and are willing to perform some
testing and keep detailed records of the process, please contact me
directly.  Geographic location is not an issue.
