Thanks Alec. That is what I've found during my research. The groove is
square with a slight taper on each side. It just didn't make sense to me. I have
another source to check, but it seems that the square groove is the most common.
My son-in-law says it's not hard to do. I was thinking of a round groove because
I've seen a few on different applications like a piston in a cylinder, but that
has no compressive force. Thanks for the info. Frank
