Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Interior Paint

I always loved going into the pet stores that had blacked out aquarium rooms.  You could see the fish so much better without your eyes being distracted. I used to be an aquarium enthusiust. In my sub, I just want to see the critters, my gages, and control levers, nothing much else. When I raised pet birds, I hated white cages, since it distracted the eye, away from the bird inside it.

White helps you see in there, and does not cause any backlighting for looking out. Besides, it shows rust spots. You paint it black, it'll be like climbing into a coffin. Vance

Sorry guys I gotta ask. Why is every sub I have seen
have a white interior? It seems to me a dark color
would be more suited for looking out. I am actually
thinking of flat black.

Am I missing somthing in this line of thought?
