My brother and I should be driving through Grand Rapids around the
5 to 6 PM timeframe on the 16th if we don’t have any difficulties
on the trip out from South Jersey. Should have room for 1 and possibly 2
people for any or all of the trip, will return early Monday morning. The caveat
is that my brother may get a new truck but we still expect it to have a
king-cab that seats 4 and all of my electronics. We expect to carry 3 kayaks and the sub escape simulator Excrutiator
out with us also. Excrutiator will break down into six panels roughly 3.5’
x 3.5’ x 2” in dimension (these are not solid but constructed of
angle aluminum and expanded aluminum mesh as sides), 3 diamond deck plates 3’
x 3.5’ x ¼“, two conning towers 24” diameter x 18” tall
(top halves of 55 gal. poly drums with aluminum plate hatches and may nest
together), and the pump and hoses should fit in the conning towers. The heavy
duty tarp liner should fold up to a small dimension. There will be a few
pieces of 90-deg. angle and flat stock, two of which are 7’ in length.
Just received all of the aluminum stock and stainless steel hardware so now

contact the person looking for help offlist if you can help them out. In my case, I will be driving through Grand Rapids sometime late
afternoon on the 16th. However, I already have one passenger and
don't expect to have much room in the car since I'll be carrying alot of
supplies for the convention. It's possible that I will have room for one
person on the way TO the convention, but I don't expect to have room FROM the
convention since I will be taking possession of the "excrutiator" sub
trainer that Jay Jeffries is manufacturing and bringing it home with me.
