If anyone else is flying into Grand Rapids and wants to share transportation costs to Holland, please state your arrival/departure particulars here or in the webforum so you can coordinate with others, or contact the person looking for help offlist if you can help them out.

 

In my case, I will be driving through Grand Rapids sometime late afternoon on the 16th.  However, I already have one passenger and don't expect to have much room in the car since I'll be carrying alot of supplies for the convention.  It's possible that I will have room for one person on the way TO the convention, but I don't expect to have room FROM the convention since I will be taking possession of the "excrutiator" sub trainer that Jay Jeffries is manufacturing and bringing it home with me.  (my wife doesn't know about this yet, btw....har-har)

Looking at transportation, I find that Grand Rapids is as close as I can get on Thursday, August 16th, and $50 for taxi fare to the Holiday Inn Express in Holland--each way. Yoikes! Any ideas about maybe gathering some folks together at the airport and cutting that down some? I really don't care anything about renting a car that I won't use but twice, although from the looks of things, it might not cost any more.
