I thought about that. Have a look at these
pictures.
Basically it are 2 endcaps welded together.
Dia. internaly 1300 mm
Width internaly 730 mm
Total submerged weight: 980 kg
You could replace the hatch for a dome and you
would have a sittingheight of appr. 140 cm.

Has anyone else built or created any design ideas using a vertical hull
for a one person, very small sub? where you would sit upright, and view
out the dome which is also the hatch? I've solved what I think are many
of the design problems inherent, but there's usually always someone who's
thought of something else, or has more experience.
