Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Welders



OK.  I was under the impression that HY-80 and HY-100 were both more expensive 
to procure, and considerably more expensive to weld, than the ABS approved 
hull steels or A517.  I looked at HY-100 for a concept I started a couple of 
years ago, but abandoned that in favour of more common and more easily 
workable materials.
