RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Fiberglass Hull

Hi Carsten,

Thx for your nice comments.
We know about the visibility, but then again...these CQ'S are really made
for clear water.
The dome is 15.9 mm and casted.

Marc

Hi Marc - nice boats.

I like the concept with the two thruster high and dry - near the ground this
will keep the mud dust to an minimum. On Peppers the bow thruster are very
close to the ground - and produce a lot of dust sometimes. If the main
engine under the hull fails you can dive the CQ-boats to overwash condition
and take still home.

The GRP work looks also very nice.

The only thing I not like is that the view to the bottom is blocked by the
hull.
In our waters here visibilty is allways an issue. But for the clear water or
as tender boat on a megayacht this boat must be the right stuff.

How tick is the dome ? It is cast or blown ?

best regards Carsten
