[PSUBS-MAILIST] Manned Submersible Convention

Hello everyone,

Please note that there is an underwater/oceanography/submersible convention
in New Orleans, Jan30-Feb1.  I know this is short notice but I just found
out about it myself a few days ago.  It is sponsored by the "Marine
Technology Society for Manned Underwater Vehicles".  The convention website
is at www.underwaterintervention.com and you can also visit www.mtsmuv.org.
They've got a long list of impressive speakers lined up including Dr. Phil
Nuytten.  I also looked at a map of the convention hall and they've got lots
of industry representatives lined up.  Take a look and please report back to
us if you attend.

I am currently in contact with the Chairman of MTSMUV to discuss ways that
our group and their group can combine interests, experiences, and
information.  Perhaps we should consider joining their convention one of
these days?
