Those were high school kids who drowned due to the Greenville's unnecessary "hot-dogging". Those people from WWII no longer exist. Civilized societies move on. Case in point....The muslim world still holds you responsible for things that occurred 700 years ago...take a good look at their world.

Considering what our sub force did to them in WWII, I suspect they are still 
primed to be unhappy with us. OTOH considering what their naval forces did
to our submariners when captured, they ought to be politely encouraged to
copulate with themselves.
