Hi EM,

The other reason for a failing it to reduce snaggable
apendages. Valves, piping, hoses, scuba tanks hanging
out there make for more stuff that could potentially
hang up on fishing lines and nets. 

Remember the Russian submersible that recently got
hung up on a "net"? They got help because they had a
support ship that called for help.

Going solo? Reduce all appendages you can because you
can not use a cell phone deep down.
