You can yust pre-squezze (pre-edge) the end which will be normaly flat
after rolling before you put the sheet into the rollingmachine. 
We make my pressure part of the sail and the hardtanks that way. 

Can send pictures of the result to intresst psubbers. Send email to me
private. 

On the main hull we use the "two half shell and cut the flat away"
method. 

The main Hull is 2500 mm to 2498 mm means 2 mm or a unroundness of below
0,1 %
