Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] ballast valve

les here, i just added bottoms to my sub and put my sub in the water last saturday ,it took me 30 min. to cross the lake i didnt add air once. no more burping .played in the channel all day instructing 2 people to drive and dive,,the waters not above the hatch in the channel, it was fun to watch people in the sub besides me. going back to the dock this week to add weight , go for a dive,,added a few pictures.

In this example, I've not used the K-250/K-350 design of an open
ballast tank, as I've read in several people's posts that they've been
a bit unimpressed with their ballast tanks 'burping' when travelling
on the surface.

Has anybody had any thoughts about this in the past?
