No I haven't asked if there are any blue print copies available of the Hunley.

Here is the link to the official Hunley site that I first contacted who wrote me back and put me in touch with their archaeologist.

I have written them 4 times now (including the archaeologist) and I do not want to wear out my welcome with them. It would be great if you dropped them an e mail and asked them

There are many plans available for modern subs Silky. I am assuming you meant there are no plans available for classified secret, modern MILITARY subs.

Have you asked if thr are any blue-prints of the Hunley avalible to the
general public or psubers?
I would jump at the chance to analyse a profesional sub & thr about no
chance what so ever of getting any plans for a modern sub ! !
