It hasn't escalated to any thing....Harve is a big boy..he can fight his own battles....leave it alone. There doesn't need to be any moderators here and this is exactly what the site is about. Learning from others and expressing opinions,,educated opinions. No one needs to leave and no one needs to agree with me or any one else. I know a lot about submarines and having a ambient yacht full of passengers traveling along at only 1 or 2 or 3 atmospheres below the surface is a stupid thing to do and I really don't care how many of you like it or not. If your going to deal with that many people then put them in a pressure vessel and that is what this is about, that's all it's about. Any thing at that level of passengers is a tour and if you cant do it right than stay out of it...build a pressure vessel or stay home...This is not an ill e mail and ....Its not about a popularity contest...........Its about common sense...And as for what

To start with I can?t believe that it has escalated to this point either.
But the fact that so many people spoke up for Herve before he even had a chance to reply speaks loads for this community.
Over the course of the time I have been lurking on this site there have been many people that are trolls or uninformed and have made bad to very bad statements. But introducing a moderator puts a great burden on one or 2 people. And reduces the chance of conversation on history or cutting edge advancements and Darwin contributors.
To me this a community of scientists ranging from historians to engineers to explores. With one dream, one goal. To promote and encourage the discussion, design, construction, certification, ownership and use of Personal Submersibles.

It is a shame that this has escalated to this point. Perhaps the comments

Their comments are far more productive than your bitter criticisms.
Last but not least, being succesful is not about marketing or making a

hull, it is about learning experiences from others, having a vision with a
drive and having the guts to stick to it.
