[PSUBS-MAILIST] Oil tanks

A few days ago I found a large and very abandoned heating oil tank.   It 
reminded
me that, just outside my home town, two teens made a working submarine out
of two or three (presumably well-cleaned) oil tanks.  I stumbled onto a 
newspaper
article on them when I was looking for something else.

Their boat was used in the pond on their family farm.  The deepest part 
of the
pond was about 15 feet, so I assume that the thing would usually submerge
just enough to get uner the surface.

There are, it seems, worse ideas than propane tanks.
