I know this is a bit late, but I'd love to read anything George  
Kittredge will write.  I really enjoyed reading his autobiography and I  
actually know one of the guys he wrote about in it.   The young man  
from Anchorage AK he describes, Norm Long, is a friend of mine and he  
still has his sub.  It's in storage and he is talking about getting it  
out and re-fitting it.  I tried to get him to sell it to me, but he  
won't sell.  I'll try to get some pictures and post them.
