Hi Al.
That is nice! Looks like it has a tank
of some kind located inside the stern. Perhaps a pressure tank, or a
ballast tank. I see the diveplanes are located at the rear along with the
rudder.
I see it has a raised console area between the
seats. It appears it is piloted from the rear seat only. Hard to tell. Didn't
see a real clear shot of any front controls.
Nice albacore style streamline nose. I have a
feeling there might have been a wind/water shield or even dual ones for both
riders. Said it was made in the 1950's so like my wetsub from 1966
it may have had shields but they yellowed and
cracked and were taken off. If I bought it I would definately put wind/water
shields or even a sliding canopy on it. What a nice sub she would
make
and she's all there but the battery box. Not bad at
all. I like it. I am tempted. But I have my hands full getting my own
operational, the last thing I need right now is another one. Lol.
I see no one has bid on it yet. With the trailer
and if all she needs is paint and a battery box, that would be a really good
deal for the right price. Thanks for
sharing it with us.
Kindest Regards,
Bill Akins.
