Ian, at the last stage the sub has a fuelcell system - but this was
later removed. I can imagine with all 3 hull in place and all original
"dive equipment" removed the housboat description fits maybe just in. 

Its worth to have a look if the pressure hull remains intact or not. The
boat has original no diesel engine - thats indicate a violent rebuild.. 
If all the electric thruster and drive motors are gone - it will cost a
lot of money to rebuild her to former beauty - even with an intact hull. 
But maybe she is at worth. Last dive was about 20 years ago..
