I don't know what happened Stan, but the links as they came out after I
sent them in this e mail system are different than what I sent.
Inexplicably I noticed the letters in the links are different than
what they were when I posted and e mailed them.
I am posting them again and hopefully they will come out correctly this
time. If they do not work for you, e mail me directly at lakins1@tampabay.rr.com and I will
send them to you personally.
This first link is a drawing of an automatic pressure equalization system
actuated by a leak detector. http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/UHX4QYIj2foHnWB2-dgztNU3I3SdhZGtY0czjb8zQ3Yvtd2IqYVgvaoYJp_QTfM8JAcLomOLTQiqAQnvY9EyKnJP6I86luD06A/compensator.jpg
And this other link is a electrical schematic diagram of the same
thing. http://f3.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/UHX4QRQh-mIHnWB2o1dSK8qzsFIzBVRCMEKEIwFJj2AQ3oPiIzHNMoTbMWATmqEfqnh54B7jPtDnDKiGM0rsRQhikINxJJJrpw/compensator1.JPG
Please let me know if you were able to access them.
I found both of these at a yahoo groups homebuilt underwater Remote
operated vehicle (ROV) site called Robotrov. It is an excellent site and I
learned a great deal from the people there, as I have here as well. I highly
recommend joining it.
In order to join it you will have to join yahoo and create a yahoo profile
and this also gives you another free e mail site. This is all for free of
course.
If you do join it you can find the above two links located in the column at
the left of the page under "files". ROV's and submarines have much in common
except of course no live humans are aboard and consequently you don't have to
have a breathing system for them.
But pressure concerns, thrusters, and many other things are very similiar
if not identical. Here's the link to the Robotrov site. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/robotrov/
Kindest Regards,
Bill Akins.
