Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Re: 2004 Awards - Need help with categories

Carsten,

I am not sure about this. Has there been awards given to people outside
the forum in the past? I don't think so? Jon and Ray may want to
comment/rule
on this.

However, it is my humble opinion that awards were given to members who built
a sub *and* participated in the discussions contributing in some way to
promoting
knowledge through their effort and experience. But that is my
impression, at least,
for the "Kittredge Award".

For example: Dan H has been a regular contributor and has been forth
coming in
sharing his experience in the building of "Persistence" throughout the
years I've been
on this forum. So, he is a candidate for the award. You [ Carsten ]
have been a
valuable asset and contributor to this forum, too, so when you finish
Euronaut, I have
a *feeling* that you'll get nominated with all hands showing :-)

Anyway, there's 2 more pfennigs.

regards Carsten - for me a Psub is a private build or owned or build and
owned sub - with or without the list..

Hmmm, Peter Madsen has been a contributing

surprise his name wasn't recognized.

Yes, but are they members of the list? I thought the awards are for
psubs
members. I nominate Dan H. for his K-350 which he completed this

I would say Peter Madsen, Denmark for Kraka..
or even Anders Ljung, Sweden for Malen.

Hi Mike,

The Kitteredge award is for a whole sub. A major project.
