[PSUBS-MAILIST] Max AMP vs battery

Hi guys!

I'm planning to buy 2 minn-kota troller motors. on the chart it is writen 
max amp draw: 35 amp.

I am assuming that with 2 motors, i would need a 70 amp/hour battery to run 
1 hour. So if i want  2 hours of full throttle operation, i will need a 140 
amp/hour battery.

Right?

The battery "expert" says that it is impossible for a small motor like that 
to have such a high current draw.

Is my understanding correct?
