Regarding curing, what's the intended operating depth of your boat? An 80%
(or ~) cure may be sufficient. Unless you've calculated stresses on every
hull fitting the chances are pretty good you're over-building the hull
anyhow.
Mind you, there is an argument to be had in that why build in an inherent
fault to begin with . . .
It's a little like one of the original habitats: Through hulls were
installed any old place including the ceiling. Needless to say when a
fitting started to let go it was over the heads of the occupants. After that
the designers decided to follow the inverted cup model - all through
fittings were located low. The resulting "cup" gave less problems.
