Regardless of any remarks, it is a shame that this icon of tourist submarines has been allowed to fall into such disrepair. It would take 2 or 3 good welders only a few days to put it into good shape as a static display. And a drum of paint. I believe it was white when it was used at the worlds fair in 1964. It carried over 32,000 passengers to a depth of around 1000 feet and was designed by one of the most renowned engineers of our times. DJB
