a problem with some of those is that the wire itself can be extruded when under
great pressure. I've seen mention in some text of several feet of cable
extruding into the sub. Perhaps there are some that will prevent this, but I
like the idea of a rigid more fail-safe via. Any inside connection can then be
accommodated to your liking.
