Mike,

A K-350, with all ballast tanks full of air, needs about four feet of water
to float.  A K-250 is a little less then that.

I haven't had mine in the water yet but just yesterday was testing my
trailer at the boat ramp.  I took only the trailer and ran an imaginary
launch.  All went well.  With my twenty foot tongue extension, I reached
five feet of water above the trailer deck.

I'm installing the eight batteries in the sub now and will do a tethered
test run of the thrusters, monitoring the electrical consumption as I test
to determine if any prop modifications are necessary.

My tentative launch date is June 6 if all goes as planned.
I hope to be able to share more information after that.
