Hello, Carsten--Of course, and why not? No batteries to worry about, as they 
would have been dropped to precipitate to emergency ascent. And the roll-over, 
as predicted by the engineers, wouldn't happen abruptly. The conning tower 
would have to breach the surface, then impose its weight against the general 
stability of the hull with main ballast tanks blown. Most of us doubted that the 
things would actually roll over, but it was never tested. By the way, PC-1401 
is in Germany somewhere. It was refurbished at SST down in Palm Beach for some 
group who had plans to salvage gold from one of your lakes. Don't know any
