A long as you're there, check out the nautical bookshop near Hyde Street
Peer,
and the boats on exhibit, and down the road is the Maritime Museum not
too far
from the Ghiradelli chocolate works. [ have one of Ghiradelli's sundaes,
too :)  ]
The bookshop has a shelf near the back with books on subs and
there is a postcard rack near the front with pics of the Pampanito.
There's a few microbrews around, but it's been awhile for me, so I can't
remember any of them right now.
