Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] LA Times article

Pierre, My experience has been that journalists will use any means at their command to find an "angle" to juice up their story. I have a beekeeping business here is Ojai and I'm always getting the LA Times wanting to come out and do some shots of me messing with the bees, the trouble is they want to spend the whole day taking pictures and half the time I'm waiting for them to show up at a certain time and I end up losing a whole day. They are probably getting paid the whole time but I lose valuable time and I don't get anything done. Then the article comes out and they get everything wrong and they use some picture they had on file because the editor has the final say. Then if you throw in this homeland security business you could start some debate about government regulation or something. If you could totally control what was printed that would one thing, you could talk about the engineering aspect that we all love but that may not sell papers, their whole motivation is to sell papers.

Brian
