No the viewport thru hulls aren't stainless, only the retainer rings for the
lenses.  I tried to use stainless in as many places as was possible but it's
quite expensive.  The lower hatch ring is stainless.  It's 24 inches in
diameter and 5/8 inch thick. The material for that one piece was over $300.
