Just caught your reply.  You are very correct, a different design will 
almost certainly lower cost and build time, and even move up my starting 
date for construction.  But there are somethings that really drive me to 
this particular design of mine, because it IS unconventional, and I like 
having the ability for both crew to be in prone, or sitting, when they want. 
 I don't know.  the money and time  and work don't bother me, I have plenty 
of life left to save money and build subs, so that is a lesser one of the 
cons for me.  Thanks for that advice though, it may just convince me to 
resort to another design later.

To the group, what are some drawbacks you can see to the configuration?  I 
know it's not too detailed, I'll work on another set of drawings, especially 
once I find out what CADs you guys are using!
