I'm pretty sure a knowledgeable librarian would have a solid answer.  And you would not have to allow the person to download the image, they could view it online, only. But perhapse the ebooks technology has some sort of expiration tecnology. Of course you can always copy anything if you really want it, but then I can do that with a real book from the library too. --Doug J
