These two pictures are just 20 Minutes old - and just 7 hours away from
2004 - greeting to all submadmans all over the world.

The pictures shows the main machinery plant with the diesel-engine, the
gear and the electric-motor/generator. The cover over the coupling shaft 
contains also a second set of instruments to control the engine direct
if the controle in the Controlroom fails. Both the trottle-lever and the
gear direction switch lever are controled by 24 V DC eletric servo
motors - which can be removed within a few second - if nessesary.
