	Unless you break the binding on a book into individual sheets
(which usually also involves cutting the folds in half separately too)
there is no magic way to take a bound work and put it on a volume scanner.
	I was able to scan all 200 pages of my dissertation in a few short
hours one Sunday.  Distributed among 2-3 participants, this is an easy way
for those of us who have Busby's to make them freely available. A standard
on OCR such as PDF or the like would be wonderful. Please note that
printer-driver style PDF tools will not provide the OCR functionality
required to take an image of a printer work and render it into digitally
readable text. Acrobat does a passable job of this.
	Should it come to fruition, I would be happy to lend my scanner to
part of the task.
