Hi Dino,

I don't know if it will suit your needs, especially re resisyance to acid but you may consider kevlar.

This is frequently used where a fireproof material is needed.  My brother uses it on burning clubs and others use it for fire-eating.  Try a magician's supplier (if you can't find one in the phone book, ask a busker or phone an entertainer that you know uses fire in their act).

Failing that, maybe the local automotive shop or a plastics supplier in your area.
