I have schematics for reversible logic controlled 40
DC motor controller from a professional EE. These will
be freely distributable as part of the OSS Project.
He is refining the worst-case failure modes for the
contollers now. I am testing two of the controllers
now,
and they appear to work very well. You provide power,
a PWM speed signal, and a direction signal (HIGH/LOW
for
forward/reverse).
