Carl, Kittredge uses pre-set 1st stage regulator(s)to pressurize the vbt to something over the maximum operating depth (158 psi for a K-350). You should have a few pounds extra to blow the tank at depth, then design the tank to hold that pressure (say 200 psi) with NO external pressure. Then you don't have to worry about venting the extrz.
