Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] PLC programming

Hi Alec

for someone who works with PLC related equipment i hadn't even thought of that type of control and monitoring.
Alas my programming skills are quite basic. The company i work for deals with data collection systems and some of our test software is based around the Allen Bradley SLC500 and related interface modules.  i would be happy to take a look at what you've got but i couldn't promise anything.
either way i would be interested to know how you get on.

Best Regards

Subject: [PSUBS-MAILIST] PLC programming

Hi all… is there by any chance a PLC expert in the house?

I’ve collected an assortment of supposedly compatible parts such as a DirectLogic 205 plc, an Idec HG1B touchscreen, a stepper motor and driver, a fluxgate sender, and a bunch of pressure transducers, in order to instrument my sub. But I’m really hitting a wall in getting these things programmed and talking to each other. If anyone with some plc know-how is feeling benevolent, may I ask you to email me offline? Perhaps I can use Webex to show you my program screens and with a little nudge get this thing unstuck.

Thanks!

Alec
