[PSUBS-MAILIST] Transporting pSubs

There were a few past messages on transporting pSubs
to sites and the convention(s).   There is an interesting article
on transporting yachts and trawlers in the 8th anniversary issue
of "PassageMaker" [ April2003] magazine. It's not about
transporting submersibles, but I imagine some of the costs and
problems encountered would be similar.

The article's subject is a 36ft LOA. 12+ft. beam.  14+Ht.  10ton
trawler.  The cost covered a distance between San Francisco
to Seattle at about $3500 including trace car [ which in some
states are required as reported in the article ].
