[PSUBS-MAILIST] 2nd annual psubs convention

Psubbers,

It's time to start planning for the 2nd Annual PSUBS.ORG convention.
I'd like to set the dates for this years convention on August 15, 16
and 17 (Fri-Sun). The location will be Northeastern USA, either in
Boston MA, or Manchester NH. There are pros and cons with both
locations and I'd like to get a sense of the group as to any
preference the attendees might have.

Please see http://www.psubs.org/convention/2003 for information
I have put on the web site regarding the location options, including
links to both city web sites and airports.

Also, please note that both cities are only a one hour drive from
each other with a major highway (Rte. 93) connecting them directly.
So even if you have to fly into BOSTON, it's a short jaunt to
Manchester or vice versa. (easy for me to say...I do a one hour
commute to work everyday, so I'm use to the drive)

Once you have read the information and made your choice, please
click on the city you chose and press the submit button.
Alternatively, send an email to jon@psubs.org

Also, I have set up an online registration page that you can get to
from the same URL http://www.psubs.org/convention/2003. If you
think you will be attending, please fill out the form now even
though the attendance fee has not been finalized. We won't hold
anyone hostage if you change your mind once the costs get
finalized. But also, if the chances are slim that you'll attend
don't fill out the form until you are more definate in your
decision. We want to try to get an accurate count of attendees.

Be sure to consider if you can contribute to the convention by
giving a presentation, providing a white paper, or just helping
out with the organization of the event. If you have a PSUB,
please consider bringing it! Phil, how about bringing a Newt
Suit??

Pictures of last years convention are online and those folks look
like they had a great time. This is another opportunity for us
to gather together and share our hobby and friendship in person.

Send me suggestions for speakers, and by all means if you know
somebody in the industry who might be willing to come talk to us
or contribute to the convention please go ahead and contact them.

Thanks in advance.
Jon
