[PSUBS-MAILIST] Movie comment.

I just watched "We Dive at Dawn," "Hellcats of the Navy" and I'm
working on "Run Silent Run Deep."   The first one is British; the
others are American.

What strikes me as different is that I can hear the sea birds
in the British movie.   The American movies lack that touch.

Is there a reason for this?

Not, I understand, that this is, strictly speaking, a question
concerning submarines.
