It is very likely that the people who died while diving with the Electrolung
were using drugs prior to their dive. The drugs in question probably
contributed to pulmonary oxygen toxicity as a result of elevated PO2. The
Electrolung was a very innovative, cutting edge technology....it was the
precursor to all modern closed (and semi-closed) circuit mixed gas units such
as the CCR-1000, CisLunar, etc. The good Dr S. knows his stuff!
