WHY would lake Mead be radioactive?  I understand they did nuke tests
not far from there, but there's a lot more water coming in and going out
than most people will give credit for.  And don't forget the uranium and
uranium/vanadium mines that were in Glen Canyon before Lake Powell was
finished.  But that's not gonna put anything in it either.
