[PSUBS-MAILIST] Fresh water sub tourism

Hello all!!
I am exploring the possibility of operating a tourist
sub in freshwater lakes with acceptable visibility
(15ft plus). Historically tourist submarines in lakes
do not do well (Auguste Piccard). The biggest
challenge is the perception that there is nothing to
see. In 2 days I will start towing a submersible video
camera and diving possible sites to operate a sub at a
lake with good all year round tourism. Yes it is dull,
no color, coral, or big sea creatures. How would you
approach this challenge? Does anyone know of other
inland fresh water sub tourism operations. Anyone ever
ride on the Auguste Piccard and what did you see?
