Re: [PSUBS-MAILIST] wet sub hulls still available

Hi submadmans, hi Gene - nice to hear from you..
as I remember or small talk..

Minesweeperhulls are..
for a ambient dry sub maybe to streamlined.. :-(

But Minesweeperhulls
great for a open two divers wet sub.. :-))
A hull for 200.. can save alot of time and money..
I have a model picture here how it looks than..

And Minsweeperhulls
for a 1atm sub only with a internal pressure hull..
.. or after destroy test of some 2 hulls..
.. the material is to old and unknown to calculate a pressure hull
.. but if somebody purchase 4 and destory 3 by a pressure test..
he spend just 4 x 200 = 800 for a shallow water 1 atm hull..

The hull lines is very beautiful.. and dammed fast..
runds quick with two Minkotas..

If you want to gofor the Guinnes Book .. build just a RC control
in - and win the place in the book for the biggest model Uboot build..

He thought they might be TOO streamlined and might move to easily and swiftly up or down in depth. This could be dangerous for an ambiant enclosed sub. Possibly the ballast control would not be able to keep up with the pressure changes. In this regard, a 1 atmosphere pressure hull inside would be safer. As money, time, knowledge, and resources allow, I'm leaning toward a Kittridge sub design. The ends of a mine sweeper might work as fairings.
