This is why you want a dual voltage motor for infinite adjustment of scrubber 
speed (noise). 
The scrubber in our boat only runs about 15 minutes out of an hour. Your 
analyzer tells you when to run it. We often use the scrubber while running a 
course and/or using the manipulators, etc., so that the noisy part all takes 
place at the same time.  Communication checks are always done without the 
scrubber.
I would like to know what most psub people use for UQC, do you have 9 & 27 
kHz, do you have up and down transducers with selector switches?
