FYI:
The best way to extend the life support capability is to pressurize your HP
AIR storage cylinders (flasks that would normally be pumped with air) with
OXYGEN. Oxygen will do a great job of blowing the hard & soft ballast tanks,
and in an emergency, you can breathe the contents of the "air" tanks.
As for the co2 absorbent, I meant to mention that our acrylic canisters for
the powered scrubber also fit our lung powered scrubbers, this way one size
canister fits all.
We are considering offering our L/P scrubber for sale (at, or near cost) to
members of the psub community just as a gesture of our hopes that everyone
will use them in their boats.
