RE: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Weighing

Being rather new to the psub arena (but having experience in related areas),
I would think it is more important to CALCULATE how much your boat should
weigh and understand what components contribute to this weight. I have
always referred to these calculations as "Weight and Balance".

Assuming you have already performed the weight and balance calcs and just
want to check your figures, truck scales are clearly the easiest. Our local
scale charges less than $20 for a net weight measurement; can't rent much
equipment for that.

To find a scale go to www.catscale.com.

Subject: [PSUBS-MAILIST] Weighing

How does one weigh one's sub? Assuming I can't afford to have it
weighed at the junkyard (the only place nearby that has the equipment),
is there some clever way of using smaller (rented?) gear to do the same
job?
