Rates for tourists rides vary from $75 in large passenger sub (48 seats) to
$160 per passenger in mini subs (2 to 5 seats) , or even $350 for dives to
300 Ft. and you have to make a reservation, because it is generally busy.
It is easier to operate a sub outside the US, approval and permits process
in the US takes 6 times longer than in the caribbean.
proof of insurance always required.
to be operated in the US for passenger service a sub must be built in the
US.
I dont know where were built the Canadians Atlantis subs that are operated
off Hawaii, they must have found a way to go through it.
