Hey, I'm trying to build a controller for my motors, 12v which power
controller do you suggest? also, can the controllers make the motor go
reverse, if so, how?

I have an Idea to build 2 motor controllers and then hook up an industrial
joystick to it, and use it to control my 2 minn kota motors (12v) so I can
control the speed of each, by pointing the joystick in either direction..

I purchased the Minn Kota 101# thrust motors (saltwater version)
for about $260 from MinnKota directly.  (Just the 36 volt motor,
without the controller or shaft).
